We’re Gathering Here

Kintsugi Village is a community gathering space created for creativity, learning, reflection, and connection. Guided by its HEART initiatives of Hospitality, Education, Arts, Retreat, and Training, the Village brings people together through art, food, education, and shared experiences.
The Village takes its name from kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold rather than hiding its cracks. This philosophy honors resilience, creativity, and the beauty that can emerge through healing and change.
Located at 2020 14th Street in Detroit’s historic Corktown neighborhood, Kintsugi Village is near Michigan Central and Newlab.
